Estethica Champagne Breakfast

For one of my first forays into LFW I attended the Estethica champagne breakfast at Somerset House. As my previous visits to fashion week have mostly comprised of loitering outside spotting the weird, wonderful and slightly mental to report back on to my bosses I was really excited to be there for myself.

As the most internationally successful of ethical initiatives it has seen its roster of designers increase over the last 5 years and in my opinion is the strongest sign that ethical and sustainable fashion is snapping at the heels of the main LFW schedule.

I had the chance to meet a selection of inspirational designers who are challenging preconceived concepts of commercial fashion through fair trade and ethical principles using recycled and organic materials.

In keeping with my aim of discovering new and interesting fashion and lifestyle brands I have chosen a selection from the exhibitors that I feel are doing the most to keep away from the hairy hippy misconceptions and are presenting commercial desirable ranges and will profile them here.
