The good thing about awards ceremonies

The Baftas and the Grammys have come and gone and I’m really pleased to have spotted during the inevitable dissection of what every one was wearing that Michelle Williams is flying the sustainable flag along with the Green Carpet challenger Livia Firth.  She wore a dress which was custom made by H&M’s Conscious Collection which stood up admirably against the other red carpet giants.

Livia Firth has been busy this year taking the Green Carpet challenge to new heights by persuading some of the world’s most high profile designers to get involved and learn about new fabrics that they may well never have come across before.  Tuxedo’s by Armani made from ethically produced wool with recycled trims had outings on not only Livia’s husband Colin but also Michael Fassbender while Paul Smith provided the perfectly tailored tuxedo for Livia’s outing to the Bafta’s.
